American Eskimo Dog: An adoptable dog in Rochester, NY in Rochester, Minnesota For Sale

This is Max, a wonderful 2 and a half year old Eskie who is 35lbs (standard size). Max knows all his basic commands and will even roll over on command for a treat. He loves to play with a ball, takes treats extremely gently and just needs a few minutes to warm up to new people. He also walks well on leash and is house and crate trained. This great boy was turned into the shelter as he did not get along well with the other dogs in the home. We have since had him with other dogs and he has done fine. It does appear that he would do best with a female or a non-alpha male. Maxs issue with other dogs is that he wants to play and doesnt respect another dogs space upon meeting the way he should. He still acts very puppy like in that regard and a bit further training would assist him greatly. Max also bonds very quickly with people and can be on the protective side so an owner who knows how to be in charge to prevent him feeling the...
