Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier Mix: An adoptable dog in Rochester, NY in Rochester, Minnesota For Sale

Coco (aka MAX) is a 10 mth. old Boxer mix who was rescued by Rochester Animal Services in Nov. xxxx. At only 5 mths. old he was wandering the streets of the city. Coco was turned over to GRASP (Greece Residents Assisting Stray Pets) to help find him a home. He was adopted to a family just before Christmas :-) Everyone was happy including Coco! Unfortunately, the owners had to surrender Coco back to GRASP due home/family circumstances. Coco was now diagnosed after several tests, with a life threatening bowel obstruction. GRASP was faced with the decision of costly surgery or euthanasia. The prognosis was good for Coco if surgery was done immediately. GRASP opted for the surgery for this 10 month old friendly and otherwise healthy boy! The wonderful doctor and staff at Stoneridge Veterinary Hospital stayed after hours to perform the surgery in lieu of having to transfer Coco to the animal emergency where he may have died en route!...
