Norwegian Elkhound Mix: An adoptable dog in Rochester, MN in Rochester, Minnesota For Sale

Benny and Javey are a little over a year old. They are considered feral dogs. They came from a situation where a person started out with one dog that wasn't spayed. This in short order multiplied to many dogs as litters of puppies were born and new homes couldn't be found and reproduction continued. As the dog population grew, the owner couldn't take care of all of them. They were fed but had no human touch or contact until they were 9 months old. A wonderful foster home stepped up and these two boys have been living there for four months now where they are learning to trust people and how to be domesticated dogs. They have made great strides and are continuing to blossom in their foster home. New places and new experiences are still very scary for them. We would really like these two boys to go to an experienced dog owner home and to be adopted together. They like women and children but are wary of men. All adoptable...
